Dining On The Floor

skimpily clad,
scented candles,
petals placed 
strategically,

and the best of Sade
softly dominating
the background.

our burgeoning 
desires
took possession 
of the room.
finger foods 
to complement
the hidden gems 
of the moment.

tonight, 
we do it differently
tonight, 
we do it 
creatively
in every imaginable
way.

let’s take-off 
inhibitions
and 
toss them aside,
let’s sync
with smoothness
and savour each
surprising moment.
