Eye Contact: A Poem About The Language of Silent Connections

Eye Contact

Eye Contact
Eye Contact
There is a certain look in your eyes
That I see every time we meet.

I don’t know what it is
But I know how it makes me feel.

Every time I see you.
I fall deeper for that look
In your eyes and the colours
Of your smile.

That look you gave
Takes me to celestial places
Where I surrender
To your welcoming, embracing.

I gravitate to you effortlessly
And I hold you close
While my body whispers-
Don’t let go.

There is a certain look in
Your eyes
And a kaleidoscope of colours
In your smile
That speaks to me on a deeper level.

I don’t know what it is
But I know how it makes me feel-
It’s intoxicating.
