God Sent
He has mended all my past Inevitable heartbreaks
I am blessed beyond compare
Just when I thought
God has forsaken me
He has proved to me that
He is always there.
There is truly a God that sits
Upon the throne
For He has sent me love that
I had never known
He sent me you!
He slowed down my never-ending haste
Set me on the right track
With a different pace.
He has mended all my past
Inevitable heartbreaks.
My heart is no longer on the line,
My love no longer at stake.
I am no longer singing the blues
My heart is at ease, and I feel renewed.
He sent me you!
He has given me someone who
Loves me unconditionally
Someone with whom I can finally be free
Free to be me, make mistakes and
Grow without feeling guilty.
Someone who I can love and
My love will not be in vain,
And who is here to stay,
Forever with me, they will remain
God has perfect timing
And of that I am sure, never denying;
Simply because
