Just You: A Poem About Celebrating the Magic of Togetherness

Just You

Today, I choose to revel in your laughter

Just You
Just You
Today, I drew the curtains wide,
Releasing the clamor of my busy day.

I wander the fields,
Hand in hand with you,
Watching the wildflowers sway.

Today, I choose to revel
In your laughter,
As you dance
With the wind's gentle sigh,

And splash in the stream’s cool embrace,
Underneath the vast, open sky.

Today, I turn my back on burdens unyielding,
To bask in the warmth of
Your radiant glow,
Witnessing the magic of
New beginnings.
As time slows down and
Our spirits flow.

Today, I break free from
The chains of routine,
To savor each heartbeat,
Each fleeting glance
In this sacred moment
Of pure connection,

Let’s lose ourselves
In this timeless dance.
