Woman to Woman

So you’ve come to take what’s mine.
Did you honestly think that
I would just step aside
And allow you to do what you like?
Without putting up a fight?
Clearly, you have lost your mind!

You walk into my presence
And you start swearing and
Calling me names
So I simply allow you to perform,

Here is a stage
For I see your desperation for
A little attention and fame
You better thank the heavens that
The beast within me is tame

I am astounded by your relentless efforts
Fighting for something that
May never be yours

Your superciliousness is amusing
It has blinded you from seeing
The fight you are losing
Be careful not to step to me,
Because your fate, you’ll be choosing

You see, I’m all about lifting
My fellow sisters up
But there are boundaries
If you cross the line
I will f**k you up.

However, you are clearly irrelevant
You are not worthy of my time
Allow me to go back to making my money
I’m doing what I have to do
To get what is mine.

You see, the man you are
Ranting and raving for
He is not my source of income,
Based on your despicable behaviour,
I assume that he is yours!

So you have a right to secure your hustle
But why give this man so much power?
We women were born to conquer
Woman to woman,
Baby girl you deserve better.
