Broken
beautiful girls don’t often
come complete and
unblemished.
sometimes they come broken
and with missing pieces.
scared memories,
with cracked heart and
tattered emotions.
beauty is not a guaranteed
sign of wholeness.
beauty is not a certainty
of emotional stability,
her natural beauty only speaks
of who and what she is
on the surface.
how do you deal with this?
how do you cope with it?
how do you help with healing?
how are you suppose navigate
those difficult moments?
some women are skilled
at concealing
their emotional cracks,
and this often catches you
by surprise when you
eventually, get to see
how many cracks exist
and how deep those cracks run.
